The show titeled Parampara - Assam-Bankok Fashion Show, which will showcase designer garments prepared by 19 students of the institute, will be held at the Rainbow Hall of the famous hotel. This is the first time that such an international show by the students of a local institute of the State is being held.
The 15-member team of CEC, led by the president of the institute Dipankar Dutta and accompanied by Mrs India-World first runner-up winner Arunima Dutta, has left for Bankok this morning. Indigenous fabrics like eri, muga, Assam silk, etc. have been used in preparing the dresses blended with Assamese and Thai culture.
